#My csr usb bluetooth device isn't working update
So hopefully they push out an update soon to address the Bluetooth Low Energy problems. Microsoft has mentioned they are working on a fix since late April. If this affects you, unfortunately you will need to wait for another update from Microsoft to address the problem, as this is a Microsoft issue that we don't have control over.

If the version is 1703, you have the Windows 10 Creator's Update. Please take a look at the number after the work 'Version' A window with version information about Windows will open up.Open your start menu and type "winver" and then click on the icon with the same name.I'd like to rule that out as a possibility. Both systems however react exactly the same to this USB BT dongle. You should be aware that there is an update to Windows called the Creator's update that is causing significant issues with Bluetooth LE devices like the Perdix. I wanted to add the USB Bluetooth adapter to a desktop that does not have onboard Bluetooth. I should note, this output is from my Thinkpad, which already has a functioning Bluetooth adapter onboard. My device looks like this, but is missing the "Bluetooth 4.0" label printed on the metal in the image. Sep 27 11:16:25 kernel: sd 2:0:0:0: Attached SCSI removable disk

I can't find any references to the USB device ID online. When I plug the dongle in, it is not recognized as a Bluetooth device, but as a USB mass storage device. I bought the cheapest noname Bluetooth dongle that had BT4.0 support listed.
